The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will hold a Public Information Meeting for the bridge replacement project located at Plymouth Road over Fleming Creek in Superior Township. The public information meeting will be held in the Superior Township Hall, 3040 N. Prospect Road, Ypsilanti, Michigan on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The existing bridge on Plymouth Road has been awarded funding for replacement through the Michigan Department of Transportation Local Bridge Program. Construction is currently scheduled to take place in the summer of 2009.
The meeting will include a brief presentation at 6 p.m. and will be followed by an open house format, providing individual citizens with the opportunity to discuss the proposed project with WCRC staff and the WCRC design consultant. It is our intent to listen and consider the suggestions or concerns citizens may have with the proposed project prior to making final design decisions.
