When: Beginning Monday, September 22, 2008 through Friday, September 26, 2008
Where: Dexter-Chelsea Road, between Parker Road and Wylie Road in Lima Township
Why: Replacement of a Failed Culvert
Background
On Monday, September 22, 2008 the Washtenaw County Road Commission will CLOSE Dexter-Chelsea Road between Parker Road and Wylie Road in Lima Township to replace a failed culvert. A DETOUR will be posted, however local traffic will be maintained.
It is anticipated that this section of roadway will be REOPENED to traffic on Friday, September 26, 2008 with INTERMITTENT LANE CLOSURES for the remainder of the project restoration. It is anticipated that this culvert replacement project will be completed by October 1, 2008. Please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of roads crews, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as this culvert replacement is completed.
