Background
Beginning on Monday, September 15, 2008, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose a ROAD CLOSURE on Old State Road from US-12 to State Road in Pittsfield Township to construct road improvements on this road segment.
Old State Road between US-12 and State Road will be closed to through traffic. Residents and businesses will be contacted regarding activities that may temporarily limit driveway access.
It is anticipated that this project will be completed and all lanes will be reopened to traffic on Friday, October 10, 2008. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of road crews, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
