What: Road and Lane Closure / Road Improvements
When: From July 2, 2008 through August 15, 2008
Where: Earhart Road from Plymouth Road to M-14 in Ann Arbor Township
Why: Road Construction
Background
Beginning on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose a LANE CLOSURE on Earhart Road from Plymouth Road to M-14 in Ann Arbor Township and a ROAD CLOSURE on Earhart Road at M-14, to construct road improvements and add a center left turn lane of this road segment.
Earhart Road south of M-14 will remain open to traffic but will have local flag controlled lane closures when necessary. Access for residents and businesses within the closures will be maintained. Residents and businesses will be contacted regarding activities that may temporarily limit driveway access.
It is anticipated that this project will be completed and all lanes will be reopened to traffic on Thursday, August 15, 2008. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of road crews, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones. The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
