Reopening of Geddes, Superior & LeForge Roads

Posted on July 11, 2008

What: Reopening of Geddes, Superior & LeForge Roads

Where: Superior Township

Background

The intersections of Geddes Road & Superior Road and Geddes Road & LeForge Road are now opened to traffic. A modern roundabout was constructed at the Superior Road intersection while a traffic signal with auxiliary lanes was constructed at the LeForge Road intersection. Geddes, Superior and LeForge Roads were closed to traffic at these two intersections on April 28, 2008 to expedite the construction process. The Washtenaw County Road Commission greatly appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation during construction.

Anyone interested in obtaining information on modern roundabouts and how to drive them is encouraged to visit the Washtenaw County Road Commission website at http://www.wcroads.org/news/articles/roundabouts/index.htm
