Where: Geddes Road, between Superior Road and LeForge Road, in Superior Township
Why: Reconstruction of the two intersections at Geddes Road/Superior Road and Geddes Road/LeForge Road
Background
On Monday, April 28, 2008, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will CLOSE Geddes Road, between Superior Road and LeForge Road in Superior Township, to begin construction of two (2) intersection improvement projects. A modern roundabout will be constructed at the Geddes Road/Superior Road intersection, and a new traffic signal will be installed at the Geddes Road/LeForge Road intersection.
It is anticipated that Geddes Road will REMAIN CLOSED through mid-June 2008. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change. The DETOUR for the Geddes Road closure is Dixboro Road/Huron River Drive to Clark Road/Huron River Drive to LeForge Road to Clark Road to Prospect Road.
