Want to take a look at what’s new at the Washtenaw County Road Commission? Well, now you can do it online with greater ease and efficiency at www.wcroads.org. The Road Commission is proud to launch its newly redesigned website with a dynamic, new look and added services!
“Over the past six months, our website team conducted an extensive analysis of our previous website reports, in addition to meeting with constituents and local partners to determine what type of information, services, and project updates our site visitors are looking for on our website,” explained Katherine Doyle, Sr. Systems Analyst, who manages all aspects of the Road Commission’s information technology services.
The site was redesigned to provide online visitors with intuitive site navigation, as well as improvements to the appearance, uniformity and accessibility of desired information.
“We have developed this website as an information tool, featuring up-to-date news and extensive information about the Road Commission,” explained Doyle.
“It is just another one of many efforts being made by the Road Commission to improve our customer service, and it is our hope that the residents of Washtenaw County will use the new website extensively; whenever they have a question about our road closures, construction projects and timelines, or just want to read the latest news about road-related items and their road commission’s activities,” added Steve Puuri, Road Commission Managing Director.
The website URL address will remain the same as the previous one, www.wcroads.org, and when you visit the site, viewers will find a feedback survey on the homepage.
“The Road Commission welcomes your comments and suggestions on the new look, ease of navigation and content. Our website is a work in progress and we hope to make continual updates to it that will best serve our customers,” concluded Doyle.
