What: Road closures associated with the Parker Road Bridge replacement project
When: Beginning Tuesday, September 18, 2007 through September 28, 2007
Where: On PARKER ROAD, between the Parker Road Bridge project and Marshall Road; as well as on GROSS ROAD, at Parker Road.
Beginning on Tuesday, September 18, 2007, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose ROAD CLOSURES on Parker Road between the current Parker Road Bridge project and Marshall Road, and on Gross Road at Parker Road. These road closures are necessary for the resurfacing of Parker Road and the intersection at Gross Road, in association with the Parker Road Bridge project bordering Lima and Scio Townships.
These road closures will remain effective until September 28, 2007, at which time the bridge construction project is expected to be completed. Motorists are asked to remain patient during these delays.
Access for residents within the construction zone will be maintained. Residents will be contacted regarding activities that may temporarily limit driveway access.
The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
