Where: Rawsonville Road, from Bemis Road to Willis Road in Augusta and Sumpter Townships
Why: Curb cut for a commercial driveway
Background
Beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2007, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose intermittent LANE CLOSURES on northbound and southbound Rawsonville Road, from Bemis Road to Willis Road in Augusta Township and Sumpter Township, to widen this section of road segment for a center-left-turn lane.
This section of Rawsonville Road will remain open to all traffic. However, intermittent lane closures and delays are possible through the area during the length of this project period.
It is anticipated that this project will be completed by Thursday, November 1, 2007, weather dependent. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of road crews, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones! The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
