Where: Huron River Drive, from Dixboro Road to Clark Road in Ann Arbor and Superior Townships
Why: To construct road improvements and add a center left-turn lane on this road segment
Background
Beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 23, 2007, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will impose a LANE CLOSURE on Huron River Drive, from Dixboro Road to Clark Road in Ann Arbor and Superior Townships, to construct road improvements and add a center left-turn lane on this road segment.
Huron River Drive will remain open to traffic, but will have local flag controlled lane closures when necessary.
It is anticipated that this project will be completed and all lanes will be re-opened to traffic by approximately 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2007. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
To maintain the safety of road crews, please reduce speeds and drive cautiously through work zones! The Road Commission thanks you in advance for your patience as these necessary improvements to the county road system are completed.
