What: Bridge Reconstruction Projects
When: Beginning Monday, June 11, 2007 through October 2007
Where: Whittaker Road Bridge over Paint Creek, between Textile Road and Merritt Road in Ypsilanti Township; Whittaker Road Bridge over the West Branch of Paint Creek, between Willis Road and Judd Road in Augusta Township.
Why: Revised Construction Start Date
Background
To facilitate an efficient start to our construction operations, the closures and detours detailed in the May 29, 2007 Media Advisory at these two bridge locations will begin on Monday, June 11, 2007. This additional week will assure the installation of the numerous construction and detour signs and changeable message boards. Also, this will allow for the end of the school year at Lincoln Consolidated Schools.
