WHEN: Starting Thursday, October 11, 2018

WHERE: Platt Road between Lutz Drive and Willis Road in York Township

BACKGROUND: On Thursday, October 11, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) and its contractor will begin guardrail installation on Platt Road between Lutz Drive and Willis Road in York Township.

The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to lane restrictions. One lane will be open and traffic will be maintained by signals. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.

The road improvements are expected to take approximately 8 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
