Applicants seeking to development public roads will be required to pay an initial application fee upon submitting a plan for review
- Conceptual Reviews of Site Plans / Land Divisions - $500.00
- Preliminary Plan / Plat Review (Each Submittal) - $500.00 plus $10.00/Lot
- Road & Drainage Plan Review (Each Submittal) - $500.00 plus $10.00/Lot
Any unexpended fund balance will be refunded following plan approval. Monthly invoices will be generated based on actual staff review charges plus fringe benefit and overhead costs for deficit accounts. The applicant will be liable for any outstanding invoices and non-payment of an invoice will result in suspension of the review process.
Construction Inspection & Administrative Fee:
An inspection and administrative fee in the amount of 3% of the approved estimate of construction will be required prior to consideration of the Road & Drainage Plans by the Board of County Road Commissioners. Any unexpended fund balance will be refunded following acceptance of the proposed public roads into the County Road System. Monthly invoices will be generated for deficit accounts based upon the hourly rate for the employee and equipment involved, plus fringe benefits and overhead costs. Non-payment of an invoice will result in a Stop Work Order.
A sign fee based on costs determined by the Road Commission will be required prior to acceptance of the proposed roads by the Board of County Road Commissioners. This fee will cover the Road Commission costs for the fabrication and installation of any required permanent traffic control devices.
Requests for waivers or variances of Road Commission standards or procedures will require a $40.00 Appeal Fee.
