About Construction
Staff manages construction activities related to the improvement of roads and bridges under Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) jurisdiction. These construction activities are monitored to assure compliance with currently accepted construction standards, thereby increasing the longevity of our transportation system. The items of work necessary to complete an ongoing road or bridge project are measured and payment is subsequently authorized.
Staff works closely with state and local government agencies, project contractors, utility providers, area residents, and business owners to assure the successful completion of these projects.
